The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) 2019 elections presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has said he regrets ever joining the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The former vice president was one of the founding members of APC and he supported the presidential bid of President Muhammadu Buhari in 2015.

According to Punch, Atiku while speaking in Yola, said that APC is a group of people who came together to “defraud Nigerians.”

I regretted being a part of the party which never deemed it fit to fulfil all of the promises it made to Nigerians.

If I had known that the APC would be such a colossal failure and disgrace, I would never had joined the party.

The APC has failed to fulfill even one of the promises it made to Nigerians. The APC is simply an assembly meant to defraud Nigerians
