President Buhari to present 2019 budget proposal to National Assembly on Wednesday, December 19th

President Buhari will present the 2019 budget proposal before the National Assembly on Wednesday December 19th. This was announced in a letter read on the floor of the house of representatives by the speaker, Yakubu Dogara,  on Thursday December 13th.

“May I crave the kind indulgence of the House of Representatives to grant me the slot of 11 hours on Wednesday, 19th December, 2018 to formally present the 2019 appropriation bill in a joint session,” the letter read.

Recall that the Federal government had a special Federal Executive Council meeting last week Friday December 7th and the 2019 budget was approved for presentation to the National Assembly.
