3 PDP Guber aspirants step down ahead of primaries in Benue

Three out of the seven PDP gubernatorial aspirants have stepped down before the commencement of the primaries in Benue.

The aspirants are Mr. Dave Iorhembe, Dr. Gabriel Nyitse and Mr Joe Iorapuu. They all accepted to step aside in due to party interest. Nyitse said PDP needed to maintain its stronghold for a great come back in 2019.

NAN reports that the primaries, as of October 1, has just four aspirants in the race and yhey include incumbent Governor Samuel Ortom, Mr John Tondo, Felix Atume and Dr Paul Orhii.
