Breaking: Army discovers body of missing General Alkali

Today, The Nigerian army has discovered the body of her missing General, Retired Major General Idris Alkali who was killed and buried in a shallow grave at a place called “No man’s land” in Lafande community of Jos, the capital of Plateau state.

In a statement by the leader of the search and rescue operation, Brigadier General Umar Mohammed, the body of General Alkali was found in Guchwet in Shen of Jos South LGA of Plateau State.

According to the statement, a parade will be held for the late retired general and that an honour and a befitting burial would be held for him.

Recall that few days ago, General Officer Commanding 3 Division, Major General Benson Akinroluyo, in a press briefing in Plateau state on Friday, said the army’s search team had discovered the grave where the late Chief of Administration was buried while on a search for the missing general.
