Deji Adeyanju, 2 others arraigned in court and remanded in Keffi Prison

Yesterday, the Nigeria Police Force arraigned political activist, Deji AdeyanjuDaniel Abobama and Boma Williams at Karshi Magistrate Court, Federal Capital Territory for criminal offences of Joint Act, Criminal defamation, Disturbance of public peace, Threat to public security and safety and inciting public disturbance under the Penal Code Law.


A statement from the police spokesperson, Jimoh Moshood, says the court ordered that they should be remanded in Keffi Prison in Nasarawa state until January 21st 2019.

The Nigeria Police Force today arraigned Deji Adeyanju, Daniel Abobama and Boma Williams at Karshi Magistrate Court, Federal Capital Territory for criminal offences of Joint Act, Criminal defamation, Disturbance of public peace, Threat to public security and safety and inciting public disturbance under the Penal Code Law.
The lawyers to the suspects were equally in court. Deji Adeyanju, Daniel Abobama and Boma Williams were remanded to Prison custody in Keffi, Nasarawa State after they failed to meet the bail conditions. The matter was adjourned to 21st January, 2019 for hearing.
